Think of this as the "Smart" Light List. Allows you to have current Light Lists on your device for offline use. Features in this professional version: choice of default light lists, a crude search system to find all occurrences of a text string. GPS support for automatically finding nearest and or providing distance, bearing and time to go, before reaching a light list item.Now has high speed downloads from a private server. Seconds instead of minutes.

Data is based on the official U.S. Coast Guard Lights Lists of which there are 7 volumes. The application is intended to be used offline; you must download the data from the web, afterwards you can display the list(s) without an internet connection. All of the difficult tasks of downloading are performed by the app. Updated data is available about once a week so you can keep up with the latest information with little effort. Each task is accompanied with a help button and there is an extensive instruction manual built-in.Each light item has an icon image that attempts to visually present what that light(or Nav. Aid) looks like. If you, as a novice sailor, never understood what the Light Lists where for, or how to use them, this will help immensely.
